3 Year Olds
Tuesday and Thursday
8:30 am to 11:30 am
Our three-year-old classroom provides opportunities for your child to play and learn with others in a structured environment with both student-led and teacher-led activities. This classroom fosters growth in fine-motor skills, learning to share, playing with others, recognizing emotions, singing songs, and listening to Bible stories. Early alphabet concepts are introduced including name recognition and phonemic awareness. Math concepts are started with patterning and numerical recognition. Three-year-olds engage in Choice Time* daily for forty to sixty minutes.

Alphabet awareness and numerical concepts are learned in fun and creative ways with a focus toward kindergarten readiness. Four-year-olds also engage in Choice Time* daily for forty to sixty minutes.

Our five-year-old classroom fosters independence and responsibility in your child and lays a solid foundation for kindergarten. This class builds on prior learning and experiences. There is an intentional focus on prekindergarten skills including early math concepts such as patterning, grouping, and sorting. Students develop pre-reading skills such as alphabet recognition and sounds, rhyming, recognizing syllables and opposites, and beginning writing. Biblical stories are reinforced through crafts, songs, and in weekly chapel. Five-year-olds also engage in Choice Time* daily for forty to sixty minutes.
During Choice Time three, four, and five-year-old children choose how they would like to structure their own unguided time in various interest areas including:
Letters & Reading

Dramatic Play: kitchen, doll nursery, tool bench, dress-up, sand & water tables
